An exciting video (scroll down to view) highlighted the launch of the Italian LinkedIn corporate page. This digital celebration marked the Italian debut of KPA6T, the French start-up comprising a team of professionals specializing in fleet services digital technology.
IT and fleet management solutions
The idea of founding KPA6T in 2017 was the result of an intuition by Laurent Bessy, an information technology engineer, who for many years was a pivotal figure in European sales for important companies operating in the transport sector. His heritage of experience gave him the perfect backdrop on which to create a ground-breaking combination of information technology and road transport services.
Over the course of his career, Bessy had seen that there was a pressing need for a fleet management solution – particularly for medium- and small-sized transport and logistics companies – that was suited to contemporary corporate requirements and could meet the demands of an increasingly competitive and technological sector. Still today, both in France and in Italy, over 60% of transport companies use spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Excel) to manage and monitor the fleet and the vehicles’ profitability.
KPA6T was initially launched as a digital platform designed for transport companies, providing solutions for logistics and the integrated management of businesses operating in this sector.
Progressively, its horizons expanded, as a result of Laurent Bessy’s long-sighted vision and his ambition of providing a 360° fleet management software tool.
A global digital platform for the Fleet Manager
Management costs, vehicle TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), the calculation of CO2 emissions, communications with drivers, the allocation of transport assignments, integrated geolocalization, invoicing transport assignments, and much more: in fact, KPA6T is a global digital platform – accessible in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode – which makes it possible to manage, guide and optimize corporate and fleet mobility, applicable equally to cars, commercial and industrial vehicles, while also reducing environmental impact.
In France, KPA6T is already used by a significant proportion of the road transport fleet. With its expansion into Italy, KPA6T has begun its journey towards the conquest of Europe.
